Looka here!!! It’s one of my absolute favorite artists to create for: Micah Kiyo! She always brings me a strong design concept AND she releases me to be my creative self! Here she’s wearing two looks that couldn’t be more opposite and she slays them both. She wanted the black kimono to be dramatic, heavy and grounded so the fabric is a matte woven with a substantial weight. Ya’ll know how much I love fringe, so I was excited to hand-cut the western style fringe on the sleeves. The kimono is the star of the show and her hair and make-up are simple yet dramatic to match.

The white mesh dress is simple, but flirty and fun over the cut-out body suit. The mesh I chose didn’t have much stretch because I wanted it to hold it’s shape well and not look sloppy, so we added a side zipper for ease of wearing. Micah styled this look with a fresh face, a flirty pony and a gold platform shoe with a chunky heel. I love what she did with each look!
